Dr. Pozefsky speaks on Thursday, 12 November

CSC is hosting a talk by UNC computer science professor Dr. Diane Pozefsky on Thursday, 12 November at 6:00 in Brooks 007. Free pizza will be available.

What do you want to see from CSC?

CSC is currently planning the programs that we’ll be bringing you throughout the year, and we need your input for our P2P (Peer-to-Peer) Seminars. We’ve posted a quick two-minute poll asking about topics that you’re interested in, and whether or not you’d be willing to teach others about subjects you’re familiar with. Thanks for your contribution.

Linux Install Day on Saturday, 26 September

CSC will be holding a Linux Install Day in Sitterson Hall on Saturday, 26 September between 12:00 and 4:00. If you want to install Linux over or alongside your current OS, or just want to find out about how to use it, the Install Day is for you. Free pizza will be available for lunch, while supplies last.

Additionally, if you can help with the actual installations, or are willing to hold short informational sessions on using Linux, we need your help. Contact Wilson Lian if you’re available to volunteer.
